Smart & Sexy Historical Romance

New cover for JOSS AND THE COUNTESS

I love this new cover!

Why did I decide to change the look of this book (and THE SEDUCERS trilogy)?

Well, as much as I love the covers, I think they didn’t communicate the spiciness of the books. I figure these stories deserve the “Shirtless Dude” treatment.

So, here is cover number one. I’m not sure why I didn’t start with the first book in the series, MELISSA AND THE VICAR, but the way things are going it will be the last one to get changed.

I’ll post the updates as they come along …

If you’ve read this book, what do you think? Which do you like better, the old cover or the new one?

Here is the old for comparison:

  1. I actually like the older version better. It stands out and is more original with the bright colors. The chest cover is very dark and looks like any other chess cover. (though I do like the green dress color). Covers right now are either cartoony, chest or monotone (all shades of pink or yellow or blue) which is why the older covers stand out.

    1. I, too, love the green in the original. It’s interesting you mentioned monochromatic covers. I love them and realized that all my covers had similar styles (couples in front of houses, buildings, etc) and decided I wanted to brand this series differently.

Anyhow, thanks for taking the time to comment!
